So the second event went ahead and out of this show came alot of experience for the group. Ending with a celetape fight, performance or fun maybe there is a metaphor there he he. see you all next year

A nervous anticipation for the following show has masked itself like a cloud over all of us. All I wanted to commit to was that we should just chill out, do what we do and not be scared. But dont allow the days to slip by. As Elis would say "get on it like a fat chick". It will be alright if we just create. Tell your friends who are art students to get involved and spread the word.

Christmas Special Breif

Christmas is Ruined Forever!

This youVweVyou we have come up with a special brief for all participating artists to produce work around. This is open to student artists living in and around Leeds.

For our Christmas special youVweVyou, we want something Christmasy to fit in with the most agonising time of the year. But look away from you cliché greeting cards of Rudolph rubbing noses with Prancer, and them TV specials where Daddy comes home just in time for Christmas, the kids get the gift they always wanted, and everyone learns of the true spirit of Christmas (thank you Disney). No, we want to turn Christmas on it’s head, and reveal the “real” meaning of Christmas. Sick of the adverts? Then tell everyone to shut up! Hate the red and green crimbo theme? Then send it to hell! Make this Christmas at youVweVyou as impacting as Santa crashing through your roof as he realises no one has chimneys any more!

This is your brief, get it done by the Thursday the 7th and hand it to one of the youVweVyou people on the 6th floor of the Leeds Met Uni H block.
Preferably your work should be as you want it presented. Movies should be on a CD or DVD in .mov (quicktime) format.
